Jo Briggs also enjoys reading; her favorite classics include Pride
& Prejudice, Persuasion and Jane Eyre having studied English

choice on her iPad are angsty steamy romances. Particular favorites at
the moment are by S.C Stephens, R K Lilley, Sylvia Day and Jodi Ellen
Malpas. Jo is also a regular visitor to eBook readers anonymous to keep
her addiction under control.
My mini review
I do love stories about second chances and this is another example of why I love it so much. Jo Brigg wrote such a realistic and captivating story that no doubt others will enjoy. The characters was so developed and Evan and Layla really stood out. Yes, there was moments (of course) that I didn't agree with or they made decisions where I was a bit WTF but overall, I was pleased with their character growth and their interactions with each other.
This book isn't without drama but thankfully it wasn't too over the top or too clichy. I think everything flowed really well and while the author's writing wasn't perfect, I still very much enjoyed this book. It was nothing too heavy, and I liked that. The only thing that I didn't like was the opening chapters, I personally thought it was a bad way to start a book. But what do I know? Anyway, this book is still really worth a read and I highly recommend this to New Adult fans who aren't still tired of the category and it does have a cross-over appeal for Adults aswell.
