Blog Tour: Room For More - Beth Ehemann

ROOM FOR MORE (Cranberry Inn #2)

Title: Room for More
Author: Beth Ehemann
Release date February: 20th 2014

Four years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.

Three months ago, I found something I haven’t had in years.

Hope.

That hope came in the form of a sexy, carefree hockey player named Brody Murphy. He swooped in and won me over with his big heart and the way he cared for me…and my girls. When they look at him, they see the father they’ve never had.

Now, my past and present are colliding and the outcome might just be too much for me to bear. Can I make the right decision when I’ve spent my whole life making the wrong ones?

Beth Ehemann lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her 4 crazy kids and her husband, who’s also a big kid most of the time. She loves reading, photography, martinis and all things Chicago Cubs.

MY REVIEW

OMG. I have no words. Like, my review won't even do this book any justice at all. It's one of my favourite reads of 2014 and possibly ever. Beth Ehemann impressed me so much with her debut Room For You but this sequel really made me a fan of her for life. I will read ANYTHING by this awesome talented author! I actually came across this series by accident after someone recommended the first book to me and I had no idea I would be this addicted to this series. ROOM FOR MORE is even better and all the things that a sequel should be. It caused me to have SO many emotions (such a roller-coaster of feelings, this one!). Sigh. Just writing this review makes me want to read it again so I can experience it all over again!

I want my own Brody!!! If you've read this series, you'd know why. He is seriously one of the best, complex, sexy and swoonworthy male characters ever. He might even be my top book boyfriend (and that's saying a lot!). I love how he's not a bossy, stalker type but instead he's different from the rest as he's so sweet and caring and thoughtful and pretty much everything that you'd want. Every girl definitely deserve a Brody! The things he did for Kacie and her twins pretty much just melted my heart. Kacie was my favourite in Room For You, but Brody stood out to me in Room For More. Gotta love this guy.

I really admire Kacie. After all she's been through, I have no idea how she does it but she's so determined to do what's right for her family, her twins. I really really respected her decisions though I did got annoyed with some especially ones near the end. I won't spoil anything but I was like, OMG JUST TELL HIM. But in the end, I forgave her so all's good. :P

The rest of the characters were amazing. They were very prominent in the first book but even more now. The twinkies, Kacie's mum, Brody's parents (what a nice twist this one was! Loved it!), Viper and the rest just made this series even more special for me. I'm so freaking glad Viper's getting his own book which I can't wait for!!! He's HILARIOUS.

So, have I done enough to persuade you to read this series if you haven't already? I promise you, you won't be disappointed and you'll fall in love with Brody just as much as I did! But, back off, he's mine! ;)

Excerpt #4

“Who’s Viper?” Lucy asked.
“Uh . . . Viper is one of my friends.” I chose my words carefully. No way could I ever accurately describe Viper to a six-year-old without scaring the hell out of her.
“Does he play hockey too?” Piper chimed in.
“Yep. He’s on my team.”
“Why did his mommy name him Viper?” Lucy scrunched up her nose in disapproval when she said his name.
“That’s not his real name, Baby, it’s just a nickname.” I laughed quickly. “His real name is Lawrence Finkle.”
Lucy and Piper shoveled their soup in their mouths, seemingly unaffected by what I’d just said. Kacie, on the other hand, stared at me with her mouth open.
“Viper’s real name is Lawrence Finkle?”
“You didn’t know that?” I cocked my head slightly to the side.
“No!” She gawked at me in disbelief. “That’s like . . . the nerdiest name ever!”
“Finkle Tinkle,” Lucy said to Piper before exploding in laughter.
Piper crossed her eyes and responded, “Finkle Tinkle Winkle.”
Lucy threw her head back and laughed so hard the vein in her neck popped out. A second later, Piper joined her, giggling hysterically.
I looked at Kacie and tilted my head toward the girls. “Easy crowd, huh?”
She didn’t even hear me. She was too busy staring down at the two laughing hyenas with that mommy glow all over her face. If anyone ever asked me to, it would be really hard to describe exactly what love looks like, but I got to witness it firsthand every time Kacie looked at her girls. The way she loved them made me love her more, if that was even possible.
