After that jaw-dropping relevation and cliffhanger in OF POSEIDON, I was itching to get my hands on the sequel. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed OF POSEIDON and I knew OF TRITON wouldn't disappoint. And it didn't. It was just as addictive and unputdownable. I'm so sad to say goodbye to this series and the characters who I've grown to love too!

Anna Banks has made me truly care for not just the main characters, but all of them. Toraf and Rayna are actually my favourite characters of this series, but I did like Emma and Galen too. I really, really preferred the Emma in this book, rather than the one in the first. Of course, she was bound to grow and be a little more mature. She's smart and level-headed. I liked her enough. And Galen, aww! I loved how protective he is of Emma and basically his whole family. I loved the romance aspect of this series but I do admit I wanted more Galen/Emma scenes. Not that they weren't there, just not as much as I want. :P

This book was so full of twists and turns and secrets and revelations that keep coming out of nowhere and let me tell you guys, I was so surprised and taken aback! At one point I couldn't actually believe it (not telling you what) that I had to go and re-read it multiple times. This book was definitely full of mystery and action. It was just the perfect amount for me.

This beautiful sequel was even better than the first. All of it came together at the end, and I couldn't have asked for more. The prologue was sweet and more than satisfying. Though the ending left me sad (*sobs*), it was the right one. So, if you love mermaids. Um, sorry, I mean syrena, then you should really REALLY read this series. It's definitely worth the read and I can assure you it's not like all the other mermaid/syrena books out there. This stands out from the rest.
