Rush promised her forever... but promises can be broken.

Torn between his love for his family and his love for Blaire, Rush has to find a way to save one without losing the other. In the end one has to be more important. Letting go isn’t easy.

Blaire believed in her fairytale... but no one can live in a fantasy.

Her love for Rush and desire to have a family keep her believing that they can find a way for this to work. Until she has to make the right decision for her and the baby. Even if it breaks her heart.

Can they find the forever that they both want or has it all just gone... too far?

Hmm. Okay, as much as I love Abbi Glines and this series, I think this series could have done WITHOUT this latest book. Don't get me wrong, I like both the main characters Rush and Blaire, but I personally felt that this book didn't really add anything new or depth to these characters.

The issues Blaire and Rush had in previous books still carried on in this and sigh it just got so repetitive! It almost seemed like as though the author was trying to find new ways to further out the plot but let's be honest, she's kinda explored everything there is to do in this series.

Also, one element I haven't noticed before while reading her books (dunno why), is how CHEESY some of the dialogue is! Some of Rush and Blaire's lines made me cringe! Maybe I didn't mind it in the first two books, but in this I just got so bored and I couldn't help saying
'Oh God just stop it! Barf.'

Another thing I had problems with was some of the characters. I HATED NAN. And Nan hates everyone. Oh but I HATE HER EVEN MORE. Gosh never once did I want to slap a character so damn bad. I know that the author wrote her this way, but gosh. I still adore Blaire and Rush though they can be a bit stupid. Grant is probably my favorite character and am so glad he's getting his own book! YES. Harlow was also another great addition to the character.

Having said that about the characters, some of Abbi Gline's other main characters (like in Twisted Perfection or her Sea Breeze series) are really, really quite similar to her other main characters. Like more than once I was having trouble who I was actually reading about. I was like, wait, is this Rush, or Woods? Is this Blaire or Della? You get what I mean? Probably not lol.

What saved this from a 1-star rating is the writing. I just can't resist Abbi's writing and as always with all of her books, I read this little thing in one sitting. It might not have been her best work, and obviously I'm so disappointed with this but I do know some fans were really excited to read about what happens next and more about the pregnancy/baby stage. :)

  1. Fantastic ending to a beautiful series and couple! I'm happy how this story turned out. I hope to see more from the other characters, grant especially! Thanks for another great book Abbi! Also thanks for taking the time to visit Australia last week. It was great meeting you in Sydney :-)
