He had held a secret that destroyed her world.
Everything she had known was no longer true.
Blaire couldn’t stop loving him but she knew she could never forgive him.
Now, she was back home and learning to live again. Moving on with life… until something happened to send her world spinning once again.
What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately?
You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out.
This sequel to Abbi Gline's Fallen Too Far may just be her best work yet! Things really intensify in this sequel and I know a LOT of people are dying to know what will happen to Blaire and Rush since the ending of the first book was SO heartbreaking! No doubt this book will really satisfy the readers (as it did to me) and while the ending was complete, I think Abbi just announced that she will write a third book! So yay for that!
Unlike in Fallen Too Far, this time we get to read from both Blaire's POV AND Rush's POV! Which, lemme tell you now, made it even more enjoyable and awesome! Rush was kinda a bit of a mystery in the first book since all we see him is from Blaire's perspective but this time around all his emotions and everything are laid bare for us and you just feel everything. He's such a complex and a complicated character who you just can't help but fall in love with! I feel so sorry for him because you know that he loves Blaire but his bitch of a sister is just being a..well a bitch, really. He can't pick between his family and his love.
I've always liked Blaire, and even more in this. I do admit she had a few moments and scenes where she keep going back and forth on her decisions but hey, who can blame her? (those who has read this book will know what the hell I'm talking about.)
The plot was awesome and even more addicting this time around. From the first book, I kinda guessed what will happen and THAT didn't really surprised me ;) All the scenes were really realistic and believable. And about the sexy times in this book? It just got better. *fans self* There's also a cast full of really likeable characters who I'll miss, but I'm not going to worry too much about that since Abbi will be writing their own books. Oh, but Nan. Oh my God, I hated her! She's just this spoiled little whiny brat who just can't be happy and support her brother! I get why she's like that, but she's not a child anymore. Grrrr.
Even though the ending are satisfying enough, I still wanted more. I know that she's going write an added chapter/epilogue later on and I was like YAY! Because I really honestly think that there's a missing chapter in there. :P
